Product scope
F6150sv is Doble Engineering’s power-system simulator for protection testing and commissioning. It is intended for individual relays and integrated schemes, including IEC 61850 applications.
Verified capabilities
Doble’s technical specification describes six voltage sources and current arrangements up to six 35 A sources, three 70 A sources or one 210 A source with the applicable enhanced option. Six sources can be converted between current and voltage roles. The platform supports IEC 61850 GOOSE applications.
Engineering interpretation
Convertible sources can be valuable for unusual differential, synchronising or multi-terminal tests, but the required configuration must be checked against simultaneous power, compliance voltage and software licences.
Specification caution
Do not combine peak values from different operating arrangements. Verify the exact chassis, source option, amplifier mode, binary I/O and software package proposed for the project.
