Sabre EcoTec is Lucy Electric’s synthetic-air ring main unit for transformer-mounted or free-standing secondary-distribution arrangements up to 12 kV. Its architecture combines load-break switching with a compact transformer interface.
Verified configuration
The official page identifies 50 Hz operation, a 630 A load-break switch and 20 kA short-time withstand for 3 seconds. The exact protection function and way configuration depend on the selected unit.
Engineering significance
Sabre EcoTec addresses SF6 replacement in compact distribution-transformer applications where footprint, cable access and installation arrangement are decisive. It is technically distinct from the front-cable-entry Aegis EcoTec family.
