Product scope
EGIL200 is a circuit-breaker time and travel analyser for MV through EHV applications. Megger states applicability up to 765 kV, but voltage class is not the selection criterion; breaker geometry and number of breaks determine channel requirements.
Verified configuration range
The official page lists 3, 6 or 12 main/PIR timing channels, three auxiliary timing channels, three digital motion channels and configuration-dependent analogue channels. Tests include timing, coil current, station voltage, motion, static/dynamic resistance, motor current and minimum pickup.
Engineering interpretation
Active interference suppression and DualGround options address challenging substation measurements. The exact grounding method, safety procedure and accessory configuration must be matched to the breaker.
Specification caution
Confirm whether the proposed configuration supports the number of breaks per phase, operating mechanisms, PIR contacts and transducers on the target fleet.
